STEEL PRODUCT
BAOJIANG supplies hot-dip galvanized steel coil in DX51D (EN 10346) and SGCC (JIS G3302), published at 0.12-4.0 mm thick and 600-1500 mm wide. Zinc coating class, spangle, passivation and oiling are stated on the order and confirmed with the supplier before production. Quotation in USD on FOB or CIF terms.
| Designation | Standard that defines it | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| DX51D | EN 10346 | Continuous hot-dip zinc coated steel for cold forming |
| SGCC | JIS G3302 | Hot-dip zinc coated commercial quality sheet |
DX51D is a forming designation: EN 10346 sets the coating and formability requirements rather than a fixed minimum yield strength. Where a drawing cites SGCC and the mill offers DX51D, or the reverse, we confirm the equivalence against the standard tables before quoting.
EN 10346 states the coating class as a total coating mass per unit area. Z100 means 100 g/m2 total on both sides and Z275 means 275 g/m2 total. A heavier coating class generally gives longer service outdoors, and the class you need depends on the environment and on how hard the sheet will be formed.

Send the designation and standard, thickness and width, zinc coating class, surface requirement, quantity and destination port. For example: DX51D to EN 10346, 0.5 mm x 1200 mm, Z275, minimized spangle, 25 t, CIF Durban, MTC required. We confirm the supply route, the coating class that can be met and the quotation basis.
DX51D is the EN 10346 designation for continuous hot-dip zinc coated forming-quality steel; SGCC is the commercial designation under JIS G3302. Both describe a zinc coated sheet intended for forming. If your drawing cites one and the mill quotes the other, we confirm the equivalence against the standard tables before the order is placed.
It is the coating mass class in EN 10346, stated as total coating on both sides: Z100 is 100 g/m2 total and Z275 is 275 g/m2 total. Thicker coatings generally last longer in exposed conditions but can be more sensitive during severe forming.
Spangle appearance, passivation and oiling are stated on the order and confirmed with the supplier. Tell us the surface you need and we will confirm what can be met.
Hot-dip zinc coating is the standard protection for roofing, cladding and light structural steel outdoors. Service life depends on the coating class, the atmosphere, and how the part is cut and detailed – exposed cut edges behave differently from the coated face, so the coating class and any additional protection should be agreed before the order.
The published range is 0.12-4.0 mm thick and 600-1500 mm wide. Other thicknesses and widths are confirmed per order against the mill.
Packing method, moisture protection, strapping and dunnage are agreed per order against the container type, the transit route and the destination.
We will confirm the supply route and the quotation basis.
