BAOJIANG supplies hot rolled steel coil in structural grades S235JR (EN 10025-2) and Q235B, with SS400 available on request. Published supply range: 1.5-20 mm thick, 900-1500 mm wide, slit or cut to length where required. We source, verify and export steel – we do not operate a mill.

Minimum yield strength as specified by the standard: S235JR 235 MPa and Q235B 235 MPa for thickness up to 16 mm (EN 10025-2 / GB/T 700); SS400 245 MPa (JIS G3101). Thickness-dependent values are the values stated on the mill test certificate for your heat.

We will then confirm the supply route, packing and the quotation basis – the price itself is issued after the specification is fixed.

What is the minimum order quantity for hot rolled coil?

For many products the practical minimum is around one container (about 20-25 tons). Mixed containers and smaller trial quantities can be reviewed – tell us the requirement and we will confirm it against the mill or available stock.

Should I specify S235JR or Q235B?

S235JR and Q235B are different designations for a comparable structural role – S235JR under EN 10025-2 and Q235B under GB/T 700. The right one is the one your design code or drawing cites. Send the drawing or the standard your project follows and we will confirm the grade and the equivalent.

What thickness and width can you supply?

The published range is 1.5-20 mm thick and 900-1500 mm wide. Other thicknesses, widths and tolerances are confirmed per order against the mill.

Can you slit the coil or cut it to length?

Yes. Slitting and cut-to-length are coordinated where the supplier can provide them. Tell us the target width or length and the acceptable tolerance.

How is the coil packed for sea freight?

The packing method – coil orientation in the container, strapping, edge protection and dunnage – is agreed per order against the container type and the destination.

How long does production take?

Loading time depends on stock or mill schedule and is confirmed with the quotation. Made-to-order sizes depend on quantity, specification and mill lead time.

What documents come with the coil?

The mill test certificate is issued by the producing mill. Depending on the order and destination we also coordinate or provide the certificate of origin, certificate of conformity where applicable, packing list, commercial invoice and inspection reports. The exact set is confirmed before order placement.
